Beautiful day, low 80's, gentle breeze, shade... everything a plein air painter could ask for.

Longview Barn #1

10/11/15

This is the barn at Longview Park on Clayton Rd. I like the solid backdrop of forest, the light poles, the cupolas, the big door.

Flowers in our Backyard Aug. 9, 2015

8/30/15

Flowers are quite a challenge.

Diane gives me lots to practice with right in our back yard.

This weather vane adds the little man-made accent that I like.

Same scene without the weathervane.

This first building turned out to be a bike shop. We learned that after eating lunch. Nice coincidence, since I work as a bicycle mechanic!
